With the COVID 19, our scheduled social activities had to be cancelled this year. Yet, before the second wave of the COVID started, Steve Reed had the great idea to gather a group of volunteers to do gardening work at the south and north entrances of Alstonvale. Shrubs were planted, the ground was levelled, weeds were removed and grass seeds spread under the pine trees. After a morning of labour, all gathered for a sandwich and refreshments; we had a lot of fun! Three weeks later, we can already see the results. Thank you for all those who participated!
On August 24th, the ARA held its annual corn roast at the Alstonvale entrance, under the giant pine trees. Thank you to Monique Renaud and the other members of the Social Committee for the organization! It was a total success!
